Pate de Verre Vessel

Pate de verre is a method of kiln casting glass. Crushed glass is mixed with a binding agent to form a paste, packed into a mold with glass powders, and fired in a kiln. After firing and cooling, the mold is broken away and the fused glass piece is cleaned and finished.
